Introductory Lecture and Technical Tour on Green Hydrogen: H2 Pilot Plant in Lingen

The energy transition requires comprehensive knowledge from all construction participants regarding current renewable energy supply technologies and their sensible combinations. The project team of the German-Dutch Interreg project "Energy Booster" offers a series of excursions that provide interesting insights into special innovation projects for the energy transition and facilitate exchange with experts in the field.

On October 15, 2024, you have the opportunity to visit the former nuclear power and gas plants of RWE located in Lingen. Here, a hydrogen electrolyzer is currently being constructed, which will be used for the future production of green hydrogen. The necessary electricity for this will be generated by offshore wind farms in the North Sea.
