Open Call 3.2 strengthens existing CIRCULOOS circular ecosystems by bringing in a “missing link” that removes technical, supply, or market bottlenecks.
It helps funded pilots and OC2 demonstrators reach operational scale by integrating your solution into real value chains.
This call is your fast track to become the “missing link” in proven European circular manufacturing value chains—where your solution can be implemented immediately in industry. If you are a manufacturing SME/mid-cap, a circular economy enabler (e.g., recycler, collector, upcycler, repairer), or a tech provider/system integrator (AI/automation/robotics/sorting/data), you can apply as a single entity.
Selected applicants receive a fixed lump sum up to €60,000 for a 6‑month implementation, typically at 60% funding for commercial entities (meaning 40% co‑funding). German and Dutch companies can participate as long as they are established in an EU / Horizon Europe–associated country (Germany and the Netherlands qualify).
You do not need to build a new cross-border consortium: consortia applications are not accepted—you apply alone. Collaboration is nevertheless “built-in” because you must join and integrate with an existing CIRCULOOS pilot (Wood/Leather/Plastic) or an OC2 demonstrator (Track A or B).
Tool adoption is also mandatory: you must use the RAMP Marketplace, the CIRCULOOS Data Platform, and the GRETA LCA tool as the digital backbone. Expect standard EU-style requirements on confidentiality, IPR, GDPR/data protection, and EU visibility/communication during implementation.
Funding covers the work needed to integrate your solution into a selected pilot/demonstrator—e.g., technical integration, process adaptation, data sharing and sustainability/LCA validation, and related implementation tasks.
Total budget: Approximately €600,000 total envelope for Open Call 3.2.
