FUTURE ROBOTIX | KICKOFF

Humanoid robots are increasingly leaving the research labs and arriving in the world of work. But how can they be concretely deployed in SMEs and skilled trades? How is collaboration between humans and machines changing? And what opportunities does this technology offer our region? These are exactly the questions the new Interreg project Future RobotiX addresses. Together with companies and universities from Germany and the Netherlands, the project is developing four concrete applications for humanoid robotics, including in the fields of welding, logistics, component handling, and painting/coating. The solutions developed will then be tested under real-world conditions in companies.
