TECH.LAND meets Singapore - talking about Technology and Innovation!

Singapore is rapidly emerging as a global hub for innovation, with exciting opportunities in cutting-edge sectors like GreenTech, Health & MedTech, and Advanced Manufacturing. The dynamic landscape here presents fertile ground for collaboration and growth, which is why TECH.LAND is making strategic moves to connect and explore these possibilities.

Sebastian van Deel, Head of the Department for Digitalisation, Industry, and International Affairs at the IHK Nord Westfalen and a key player in the TECH.LAND team, recently engaged in high-level discussions with some of Singapore’s leading institutions. Meetings with Enterprise Singapore, the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, and the Battery Consortium in the ASEAN region were facilitated by the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Singapore) and Germany Trade & Invest.

Sebastian’s message is clear and powerful:

Dutch-German TECH.LAND is a strong European story: The initiative showcases the synergy between economy, science, and government, working together to drive technology, innovation, and startup ecosystems.

Focus areas: With a robust portfolio in Greentech, MedTech, and manufacturing technologies, TECH.LAND is poised to lead in these sectors.

Global expansion: The partnership potential extends beyond Europe, with opportunities to collaborate with markets in the US and ASEAN regions.

Leverage the network: Now is the time to utilize the strong TECH.LAND network to expand our international footprint and build lasting partnerships.

The fruitful discussions in Singapore have already set the stage for future activities, including delegations and reciprocal visits between the regions, focusing on a range of exciting topics. 🚀

Singapore and TECH.LAND are charting a path forward together, blending European expertise with Singapore's innovative drive—ensuring that both regions thrive in the evolving global technology landscape.
