TECH.LAND at Hannover Messe 2025: Five Days of Innovation, Dialogue, and International Collaboration

With a strong presence at this year’s Hannover Messe, TECH.LAND once again underscored the value of cross-border collaboration and cluster-based innovation in the Dutch-German region. Over five inspiring days, the fair offered not only a window into emerging technologies but also countless opportunities for meaningful dialogue with businesses, academic institutions, policymakers, and international stakeholders.

Spotlight on Innovation

Hannover Messe proved itself yet again as a central meeting point for interdisciplinary innovation. From on-site visits to companies such as Westfalen AG, Flender, and XITASO, to engaging conversations with key players from business and academia, TECH.LAND was actively engaged in shaping the innovation discourse.

A Hub for Dialogue and Partnerships

Our TECH.LAND booth in Hall 3 (Stand 96(5)), jointly presented with the Chamber of Skilled Crafts Münster, was a vibrant forum for cross-border exchange. The booth illustrated the synergy between skilled craftsmanship and high-tech innovation. We welcomed guests from across the region and far beyond – including delegations and businesses from Turkey, Dubai, Singapore, and South Korea. Of particular note was the strong interest from students and international talent eager to participate in research and innovation projects in the TECH.LAND region.

A key theme throughout the week: funding opportunities. Interreg Deutschland-Nederland, in particular, emerged as a highly relevant instrument for supporting cross-border initiatives.

Building Bridges – Strategically and Globally

Whether in talks with Claudine Clignett-Driesser (Embassy of the Netherlands in Berlin), in strategy sessions with leaders from VDL Energy Systems, or during visits from delegations such as VMO (Verenigde Maakindustrie Oost) or the Warendorf region (organized by Petra Michalczak-Hülsmann, gfw), TECH.LAND leveraged the fair as a platform to deepen connections and launch new initiatives.

Partners from Novel-T further expanded TECH.LAND’s reach in the international startup ecosystem, while Technologieförderung Münster scouted emerging trends in the hydrogen sector.

Putting TECH.LAND on the International Innovation Map

Our time at Hannover Messe confirmed the Dutch-German border region as a thriving hub for sustainable innovation, advanced technologies, and international cooperation. TECH.LAND stood out not only as a catalyst for collaboration but also as a strong and visible brand for future-oriented exchange.

Up Next: World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam

We’re keeping up the momentum: TECH.LAND will be at the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam on May 21–22, 2025 (Booth E45c, German Pavilion / NRW Stand). Our goal remains unchanged – to boost visibility, deepen partnerships, and co-create the future of innovation.

A heartfelt thank you to all our partners, supporters, and visitors at Hannover Messe 2025. TECH.LAND continues to move forward – cross-border, collaborative, and innovation-driven.
